AntPool is one of the largest Bitcoin mining pools by hashrate, frequently ranking among the top five. It was introduced in 2014 by Bitmain, a Chinese firm that makes Antminer ASIC mining hardware. AntPool focuses largely on Bitcoin, but it also provides mining services for other Proof-of-Work cryptocurrencies.
